Subject: Tension between Clubs
Date: October 11, 2008 It is no secrete that there have been heightened tensions between the War Dogs Motorcycle Club and a long established 1% Club. One of the areas other 1% Clubs was instumental in brokering a meeting between the leadership of our Club and the leadership of the 1% Clubs. We appreciate their contribution to ending tensions. We all discussed our differences in a reasonable, constructive manner. Although we have fundamental differences with some of each others philosophy, we have set aside our differences and found a peaceful resolution to our recent disagreements.
It is a difficult proposition for the leadership of the areas largest Clubs to keep their Members in line when considering that long term, deep seated resentment festers between individuals in different Clubs. We each have Members that have been deeply committed to Club life for over 30 years. These resentments don’t disappear overnight. However, we are confident that this agreement between the Clubs will be a good start toward a peaceful coexistence. With the easing of tensions between the Clubs, law enforcement can spend less resources worrying about potential violence between the areas Motorcycle Clubs and concentrate more on the more important aspects of their difficult jobs.
As always, we will strive to respect all Clubs that respect our Club and we will do our very best to police our own ranks.
